Privacy Policy

How Glimwright LLC handles information when you use our websites, services, or authorize connections to third-party platforms.

1. Who we are

Glimwright LLC (“Glimwright,” “we,” “us”) is a small studio that builds websites, marketing systems, operations tooling, and related services for established businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our websites, services, or when we connect software we operate to third-party platforms (including QuickBooks Online) with your authorization.

2. Scope

This policy covers:

  • Visitors to and users of glimwright.com and related Glimwright-operated properties we designate
  • Clients and principals who authorize Glimwright-operated tools to access their business systems
  • Internal integrations we run for our own studio and for entities we operate under separate books (see §6)

It does not replace the privacy policies of third parties (Intuit/QuickBooks, Google, Meta, hosting providers, etc.).

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • Contact & account details you provide (name, email, phone, business name)
  • Communications (messages, meeting notes, support requests)
  • Website / product telemetry typical of hosted sites (IP address, device/browser data, pages viewed, cookies or similar technologies where enabled)
  • Client business data you upload or connect (e.g. CRM records, content assets, operational data) to deliver contracted work
  • Accounting data only when you (or an authorized principal) connect QuickBooks Online via OAuth — such as company metadata and the accounting records permitted by the scopes you approve

We do not ask for Social Security numbers or payment-card PAN in ordinary studio workflows. Payment processing, if any, is handled by payment providers under their terms.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Glimwright services
  • Communicate with you about projects, billing for our services, and support
  • Operate authorized integrations (read-first; write only when explicitly approved for a given operation)
  • Secure our systems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations
  • Analyze site/service performance in aggregate

We do not sell personal information.

5. Sharing

We share information only as needed with:

  • Service providers that host or operate our infrastructure (e.g. cloud hosting, email, analytics) under contractual limits
  • Platforms you connect (e.g. Intuit QuickBooks Online) under their terms and your OAuth consent
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when required
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

We do not share connected QuickBooks company data with unrelated third parties for their marketing.

6. Separate books / QuickBooks connections (important)

Glimwright may operate or assist with more than one QuickBooks Online company (for example, a personal set of books and a separate business entity such as Rite LLC DBA Rite Innovations). Those companies are separate.

  • Each connection uses its own OAuth authorization and credentials
  • Data from one QuickBooks company is not mixed into another company’s books
  • Access is limited to authorized principals (currently Hayden Keiser and Meagan Padgett for Glimwright Command contexts) and systems they approve
  • Default posture for automation is read-only unless a principal approves a specific write/payment action

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to deliver services, meet legal/accounting retention needs, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Connected-token credentials are stored using our secret-management practices and rotated or revoked when a connection is disconnected.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to a small studio (access control, secret management by name, least privilege). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your choices

You may:

  • Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
  • Disconnect a QuickBooks or other OAuth integration in that platform’s settings and/or by asking us to revoke stored tokens
  • Opt out of non-essential marketing emails (transactional/service messages may still send)

10. Children

Our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable standard).

11. International

We primarily operate in the United States. If you access our services from elsewhere, you understand information may be processed in the U.S.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Effective” date will change when a revised version is published at the live URL. Material changes will be posted on this page.
